Snap

And she's done it again. Mary-Kate Olsen has given me serious wardrobe envy.

I'm not going to go so far as to say that Mary-Kate is my new favourite twin, because she isn't, but I just can't help but love her style at the moment.

I've wanted a real fur coat for ages (don't judge) and I'm loving this dark-red number - the Culture Club style plaits I can leave but the bag and glasses I'll take, what a beauty.

Just incase anyone needed reminding why Ashley is still my favourite, here are a couple of my favourite 'Ashley' looks. This Starbucks headband look made me want to wear a turban-style band more than anything in the world; her hair is just to-die-for.

Who is your favourite Olsen, past or present?

Apologies again for the severe lack of posts recently, work loads are extremely stressful! Keep your fingers crossed for me next week, you might be looking at a Burberry intern...

Airport Chic

I never used to like Victoria Beckham's style (although I don't know anyone who actually did) but I've been converted to the Posh side.

I absolutely loved her AW10 collection at Fashion Week and think she's really emerged as something of a style icon over the past year or so. It's very much a love/hate thing with Victoria and you either get it or you don't. Even though that whole WAG phase (circa extensions, tan, boobs) was horrendous, you can't deny that it created a following - mainly of gypseys but a following nonetheless.

At least her latest phase is generating a stylish following, myself included (I'm not really a Victoria girl, but that doesn't mean I don't think she's cool - which she is, by the way).

Here's my interpretation of Victoria's airport look - notice how airports bring the best out in her?

Leggings, Shoes: Topshop. Balmain Jacket, YSL Cuff: Net A Porter, T-Shirt: French Connection

Admittedly the t-shirt isn't great (I'd wear a plain American Apparel V-Neck with this outfit) but the rest is something I'd definately wear. Well, who wouldn't wear Balmain? I've developed an irrational fear for wearing trousers but Victoria (and Rachel Bilson) have made me re-think my phobia, sort of.

What do you think, Victoria Beckham: stylish or not?

Thumbs Up

This is why I love Freja Beha Erichsen and this is also why I love Terry Richardson. Need I say more?

Kudos

At the beginning of the month we saw our long-lost English-rose Keira Knightley attending the Laurence Olivier Awards Nominess Luncheon Party (bit of a mouthful) in a gorgeous outfit courtesy of Miu Miu.

And to the Awards ceremony which took place last night she wore Erdem. I must say that I'm actually really impressed.

Keira in Erdem

Keira in Miu Miu

Her red carpet style has always been quite good aside from a couple of 'what was she thinking' moments (at least she's not like Kristen Stewart who has completely dropped off of my 'cool list' thanks to recent red carpet horrors). I think she looks great in Erdem - she's got that willowy frame needed to wear silk and she kept the hair and accessories simple, giving the dress all the attention.

Although she does look fab, I'd really like to see her wearing something from Fendi AW10 this year. I loved the collection but was in two minds about which celebrities could/would wear it and after Keira's recent comeback, I'm positive that she's the girl.

What do you think about Keira's recent comeback? After getting completely sick of her following the success of Atonement/Pirates of the Carribean, I'm actually glad to see her out and about again and in style too. What would you like to see her wearing over the course of this year?

A Day At The Beach

If only a day at the beach was really this glamorous...
Kate Moss shot by Mario Sorrenti for Vogue Hommes International (Spring 2010)

You know someone is a super when they don't even need to wear clothes to make an editorial look perfect. Unlike her harsh editorial for LOVE (check out the photo's here if you haven't already seen them), Kate looks sexy, calm and beautiful in the natural surroundings.

I've not really seen Kate looking this good for some time now which is probably why I love this so much, what do you think?

Rude Rihanna

I love a bit of Riri, the good and the bad. Her outfits are incredibly hit and miss and I'm always on the look out for her 'hits' - usually found when there's parties/award ceremonies/fashion shows to attend to.

This latest look is a combo of both the good, the bad and the ugly though.

I love the grey sequined sweater and the casual black hot-pants (something I'd like to wear when the weather cheers up) but the chains? The lace-ups? The black streaky-bacon hair? It's not doing anything for me.

If I had my way with her I'd dye her hair brown/black all over and give her some short Tao Okamoto crop. I'd rid of the boots and give her some killer heels and I'd banish the bling altogether. But that's one massive if.

I'm always fond of the red lippy on Rihanna aswell but this whole combination just looks wrong to me, anyone else? On another note, if your a fan of Papa Karl Lagerfeld (if you're not then you need help) then you simply must read this article from Vice - it's perfect.

Seriously, read it - he even talks about expensive rent boys. Tell me what you think, does it make you love him even more or does it just make him that much more extroverted?

Beastly

A friend and I were having a minor dispute over whether Alex Pettyfer is hot or not (I've now concluded that he is) when I came across his latest film, Beastly.

To cut a long story short, Beastly isn't exactly thick on storyline - think curses, transformations, high school drama and a bit of romance thrown in for good measure (you get the idea). But I'm really excited about it because of a cameo from Mary-Kate Olsen as Kendra the witch- how good does she look?

Although Ashley has always been my favourite (Two Of A Kind left a big impression), Mary-Kate really stepped it up during 2009 and they're sort of on a par right now, her street-style is immaculate too.

I love the hat, love the glasses, love the rings and I've become completely obsessed with these beautiful leather turn-ups. I really hope Ashley's street style gets back on track because I'm always rooting for her, anyone else?

Beastly is set to be released this July and also features Vanessa Hudgens (who might've actually learnt to act by now); I can't deny that a topless Alex Pettyfer isn't part of the attraction too! Check out the official site here for photos and the trailer.
