25

Seriously, how can one girl be so perfect? Everyone knows that Abbey Lee has been my girl crush for a while now and I feel this image is justification enough.

Isn't she just amazing? But on a more serious note this issue of 25 actually looks really good - Beyonce and couture? I'm there. My magazine collection has become a little bit ridiculous now; not only does it take up way too much space in my bedroom but I still haven't read quite a few of them, oh the shame!

I'm one of those hideously annoying people who organises my magazines and castrates anyone who touches them (I think I'm OCD, anyone else?) expecially if they snap the spine, god forbid. But with covers like this, you'd be a fool to get it all grubby and use it as a doorstop, non?

Karlie Kloss, Constance Jablonski AND Abbey Lee Kershaw - with Anja Rubik as 25's recently appointed Fashion Director, the covers were never going to be dull.

Which is your favourite cover?

The Chanel Show

Not Chanel as in the tweedy, quilted variety but Chanel as in the Iman variety. Apologies for my hiatus over the last week - I have been crazy-busy with photoshoots, writing and other more menial chores which details I won't bore you with.

Having scanned several fashion AND gossip sites I found nothing interesting enough to share with you but this image from Lula of Chanel made me smile. She's such a cutey and I love this outift on her - it makes a change from her model standard black leggings and leather jacket.

I managed to catch a similar pose from her at London Fashion Week SS10 backstage at Nicole Farhi - with the lovely Coco Rocha in the background (how amazing was the Royal Opera House for a venue aswell?)

Check out my original Nicole Farhi post here along with my other SS10 backstage coverage. Once again I'm sorry for the lack of posts - I promise I'll pick up the slack and get back in the game!

Chanel Iman, cute or what?

The Return of: Frabbey

This isn't exactly breaking news (think NY fashion week not Paris) but as usual I couldn't help myself.

They just look so good it makes me want to cry a little.

I know I should probably post something about the Oscars but to be honest they were so BORING I didn't actually want to. Ok so maybe that's a bit of an exaggeration. I was surprised at my own choice of favourite dresses/celebrities, it seems that nude has finally caught my attention. Aside from these lovely looking ladies (and Amanda Seyfried/Cameron Diaz) everyone was just a bit too boring for me. Sorry Hollywood folk.

Baggy Trousers

Rachel Bilson is one of those people who slips in and out of my peripheral all of the time. When she was in The OC I was pretty much obsessed and thought she was the best thing since sliced bread; ever since she's just been coming and going.

It's not because I don't like her style because I do (she's only an inch taller than me so I get wearability ideas from her), I think it's probably because she's not one of these fame/media/money hungry celebrities. This photo of her has left me in mixed minds - again.

I love the Phillip Lim bag and surprisingly (considering my aversion to trousers) I really like the baggy grey cropped slacks. Maybe it's the blazer or the fact that I think she should have worn higher heels. I do, however, adore her hair at the moment too, I have serious hair-envy right now!

What do you think of Rachels baggy trousers, yay or nay?

Lady 'leave a message after the tone' Gaga

I love the Gaga - always have, always will. I'm mortified that I missed out on the Monster Ball Tour (check out Nicola Formichetti's blog for video's and photos) but I'm sure there'll be a DVD out before I know it.

I was excited to see this photo she Tweeted the other day and although I can already hear everyone saying 'She's too thin blah blah blah' I think she look's bloody insane (good insane, not mental insane).

It's a photo still from Telephone and much like these three, which have been floating around for a while now, it looks typical of a Gaga masterpiece.

Yes I know she looks skinny and she obviously has lost a lot of weight but I think she looks good; I don't really know what all the fuss is about - everyone hated her not so long ago!

PS. A bird flew down my chimney and is now stuck at the bottom - we've cemented the fireplace up so it's stuck! Oh how RSPCA would cry if they knew...

Paris Fashion Week: Balenciaga

I love Nicolas Ghesquire! I've been seriously bored by Milan and New York Fashion Weeks (of course London was exciting, not that I'm biased or anything) so I was super excited for Paris - and it hasn't disappointed so far.

I love the prints, I love the colours, I love the shapes - I think you get the idea. The rounded off shoulders are subliiiime and the nude and black mini-dresses are seriously beautiful. The colour palette is playful and actually makes me want to team burgandy with electric blue.

The shoes are in a whole new league of their own, they're more like some extraordinary piece of architecture - not heels. I think it's safe to say I've never wanted to dye my eyebrows candyfloss colours more than now, anyone else?

I'm so glad that Balenciaga have stuck their fingers up at the recession because playing it safe is so last year. What do you think? What will your eyebrow colour of choice be this AW10/11?

Remember Me? How Could We Forget...

I don't want to be mean about Kristen Stewart, I really don't, but my god this outfit is horrendous.

Granted, she was attending Pattinson's premiere for Remember Me and not her own (if it was for her own movie I would officially disown her) but there's no excuse for this. I mean the shoes and hair I can handle but the kneed-waisted-camo-trouser-things? And the dodgy leather? No, just no.

I'm not usually one for slating other peoples looks - especially as I quite like Kristen - but what WAS she thinking. Considering she's just bagged 'Women of the Year' at the Elle Style Awards you would have thought she'd make a bit more effort or at least get a decent stylist to make the effort for her.

What do you think? Am I being harsh or does she actually look as bad as I think she does?
