Sasha Fierce

Sasha Pivovarova is one of my all time favourite models. Muiccia's girl for six consecutive seasons and ranked 2nd in the Top 50 Models list; she is so completely unique.

As the current face of H&M, Giada, Mulberry and Longchamp I wanted to share some of my favourite past editorials with the Russian goddess (and she literally is...). Enjoy!

Ashley Greene

I love Interview magazine in all its large format loveliness and I'm really excited about the latest  issue.

Not only is Jay Z on the cover but Michael Sheen has Q&A'd Ashley Greene, aka Alice Cullen from The Twilight Saga. I've loved Michael Sheen ever since he appeared in OCD drama Dirty Filthy Love in 2004 and I love that he's interviewing my favourite Cullen (read the full interview here)

Easily one of the least publicised actresses from the films, Ashley Greene has gone from unknown to superstar. She looks incredible in this editorial and her red carpet style is pretty good too; one to keep my eye on!

Who would you like to see more of this year? Interview is out on the 19th January.

Versace?

It seems that 17 year old Georgia Jagger has been causing quite a stir in fashion land. The daughter of a Rolling Stone and now the face of the SS10 Versace campaign; you would've thought we'd be putty in her hands right about now. But we're not.

The SS10 Versace collection was sublime. Some saw Gianni in his heyday whilst others just loved its almost 'tackily' fresh aesthetic. I for one fell head over PVC heels for Donatella's Alice in Wonderland inspired collection. However, when Georgia Jagger was announced as the face of the Italian powerhouse last year I was a little sceptical. For one thing she is only 17 and I always felt that Abbey Lee would have so much better.

Fashion forums are in quandry; some love her, some hate her. Countless comparisons with the Louis Vuitton campaign, Lara Stone and Abbey Lee have been made - all of which are quite true. However, I loved the collection and I'm not turning my back just because I'm not 100% on the choice of model (I think she's beautiful, just not quite right). Abbey Lee would have been a better candidate and so would some variety but GOD I love the dresses and shoes.

What do you think of Georgia for Versace?

Lily Lovely

I loved Lily Allen from the start, I even remember Chris Moyles saying he was "willing to give her a chance", following the release of her debut single back in 2008. She never really struck me as a fashion person, more of a chav in a dress; so I was pleasantly surprised when she started appearing in campaigns and photoshoots last year. The i-D photoshoot in the 'Spongebob' issue was so beautiful, this is even more so.

Here's to hoping she'll continue to grow stylistically throughout 2010 (Harpers Bazaar, January 2010 - shot by Alan Gelati).

Love the raffia horns and Philip Treacy top hat. What's your favourite January editorial?

Burberry Boys (and Girl)

One thing I love about the New Year are all the new campaign's. By November I get so horribly bored seeing the same images over and over again. I was particularly excited about the Burberry Prorsum campaign for two reasons: 1) I love Emma Watson and 2) I loved the collection even more.

I'm a sucker for Christopher Bailey's gorgeous jackets and I adore the new variety in ice-cream shades. I also love the fact that he's used all Brits because being patriotic feels like something of a crime these days (as does everything else the governments political correctness/health and safety idiots have gotten their hands on).

I'm not so sure about Max Hurd (infact I'm entirely not sure) but I'm pretty taken with indie boy George Craig. I'm so excited about Fashion Week this year and hopefully I'll be able to appreciate it rather than running around like a headless chicken!

Follow or not...

I've always been inspired by people that have the natural ability to do something really well; I love looking at art because that's really where it all began for me. Since leaving college, I've really lost touch (I was never great at it but it was fun nonetheless) and my friend Clare's blog keeps me well informed of any interesting happenings.

It's a bonus that her work always makes me smile, these potato prints and felt men are particularly fun.

Highlighter Hair

And here comes Lady Gaga, whose hair will undoubtedly spark a DIY highlighter revolution. I quite like the orange hair, mainly because I want it for myself. However, I can't help but see a strange resemblance to Mutya Buena, anyone else? It's probably just the pencil thin eyebrows and candyfloss lips, maybe I'll come round one day but for now I'm not entirely convinced.

That skintight body is stonecold evidence that she doesn't have a penii, end of.
