Tis The Season To Be Jolly

Ok so Christmas is just a stone's throw around the corner (19 days, to be precise) and if you're anything like me you won't have even thought about it until now; don't get me wrong, I love giving people presents, but finding great gifts is one of the most traumatic things in the world. This year however, things are going to be different because being in London, I'm surrounded by amazing boutiques and gift shops - all selling perfect Christmas presents waiting to be bought.

Here is a small selection of some of the things that have caught my eye so far, how cute are the Stella McCartney Days of the Week knicker Set?!

Days of the Week knickers by Stella McCartney and playing cards by Lanvin @ Matches. Silver bag by Topshop. i-D Covers book and cat plate by Donna Wilson @ Magma. Red Fisheye camera by lomography.com. Moustache brooche by Tatty Devine. Pom-pom mittens by ASOS. Crossbone ring by galibardy.co.uk. Christmas Cookie candle by Yankee Candle.

All of these beauties would make great stocking fillers or secret-santa pressies as they're all within a reasonable price range. It also helps that I'd be more than happy to receive any one of these for Christmas so if anyone is stuck...well, you get the idea.

What will you be asking for this Christmas and what are the best and worst presents you've ever received?

Peapod Dreams

At the beginning of December I wrote about a mystery 'runner bean' necklace that I'd fallen in love with. However, because I only saw it briefly, floating around the neck of a mystery celeb, I had no idea where to start my search. All of that changed today when I stumbled across said necklace on the Alex Monroe website, hallelujah! Christmas came early, it seems (and it wasn't a runner bean but a pea-pod - how cute!)

I came across a selection of adorable pendants in my arduous search, which I felt only fair to share with you. Enjoy!

I literally can't wait to get my Alex Monroe pea pod, what are you looking forward to buying/recieving this Christmas?

On the 18th Day of Christmas...

With half of my Christmas shopping done - remind me never to go anywhere in London at Christmas ever again - I've started thinking of a couple things I'd like for next season.

Having been hunting for a red jersey maxi dress since I saw Abbey Lee in one at LFW, I'm still at a loss: however this black Fendi one is just as cute and would look amazing with scruffy jacket and boots. It's a bit ridiculous of me to put a Judith Leiber bag on my wishlist, however I'm pretty certain the high street will have a decent variety of imitations any day now.

The whole sleeveless leather jacket is a bit old hat now, but this pastel yellow number from DOMA is adorable. I'm pretty sure I'm only getting money and a hangover this Christmas but there's always next year...

From L-R: ACNE £400, YSL £115, JUDITH LEIBER £3260,
FENDI £775, DOMA £350, YSL £530

Twin-tastic

Apologies for severe lack of posts recently, I forgot how madly hectic Christmas was! I know I've been posting alot of editorials recently, but there's just so many I ADORE floating around that I can't help but share the love.

This editorial has been around for sometime now, but it remains one of my favourites, top 5 for 2009 you could say. Freja Beha Erichsen is one of my all time favourite models and this photoshoot from Twin magazine just blows my mind, she's so beautiful it hurts.

I want the middle right and bottom left on my wall right now, thank you very much. Again I'm sorry for the number of editorials compared with insightful fashion info but I felt this could not be left in the depths of a magazine.

On The 1st Day of Christmas...

Although I'm strongly opposed to any notion of Christmas before 1st December, I couldn't help but compile a wishlist of accessories.

Accessories are definately my guilty pleasure and although this is more of a dream wishlist, one can always hope. I really love the Lanvin cuff; to me it's such a statement piece and would have to be worn with a really clean and simple outfit (and of course skyscraper heels - my favourite).

From (top left) clockwise: Marc Jacobs bag £4,100, Chloe python tote £1,745, Lanvin embellished bird cuff £585, Burberry Prorsum platform pumps £395, Albertus Swanepoel faux-fur cossack £265, Marc by Marc Jacobs skull necklace watch £150.

In the run-up to Christmas I'll be posting weekly wishlists with my favourite items around at the moment. What is everyone else going to be wishing for this Christmas (aside from a mistletoe moment)?
