It's a bonus that her work always makes me smile, these potato prints and felt men are particularly fun.

Follow or not...
I've always been inspired by people that have the natural ability to do something really well; I love looking at art because that's really where it all began for me. Since leaving college, I've really lost touch (I was never great at it but it was fun nonetheless) and my friend Clare's blog keeps me well informed of any interesting happenings.
Highlighter Hair
And here comes Lady Gaga, whose hair will undoubtedly spark a DIY highlighter revolution. I quite like the orange hair, mainly because I want it for myself. However, I can't help but see a strange resemblance to Mutya Buena, anyone else? It's probably just the pencil thin eyebrows and candyfloss lips, maybe I'll come round one day but for now I'm not entirely convinced.
That skintight body is stonecold evidence that she doesn't have a penii, end of.

Peapod Dreams
At the beginning of December I wrote about a mystery 'runner bean' necklace that I'd fallen in love with. However, because I only saw it briefly, floating around the neck of a mystery celeb, I had no idea where to start my search. All of that changed today when I stumbled across said necklace on the Alex Monroe website, hallelujah! Christmas came early, it seems (and it wasn't a runner bean but a pea-pod - how cute!)
I came across a selection of adorable pendants in my arduous search, which I felt only fair to share with you. Enjoy!
L-R: Pearl Peapod Necklaces from etsy.com & Michael Michaud
L-R: Coral necklace and Strawberry pendant from Kenneth Jay Lane at net-a-porter.com
L-R: Aubergine and Peapod pendants both from alexmonroe.com
I literally can't wait to get my Alex Monroe pea pod, what are you looking forward to buying/recieving this Christmas?

On the 18th Day of Christmas...
With half of my Christmas shopping done - remind me never to go anywhere in London at Christmas ever again - I've started thinking of a couple things I'd like for next season.
Having been hunting for a red jersey maxi dress since I saw Abbey Lee in one at LFW, I'm still at a loss: however this black Fendi one is just as cute and would look amazing with scruffy jacket and boots. It's a bit ridiculous of me to put a Judith Leiber bag on my wishlist, however I'm pretty certain the high street will have a decent variety of imitations any day now.

The whole sleeveless leather jacket is a bit old hat now, but this pastel yellow number from DOMA is adorable. I'm pretty sure I'm only getting money and a hangover this Christmas but there's always next year...

FENDI £775, DOMA £350, YSL £530

Twin-tastic
Apologies for severe lack of posts recently, I forgot how madly hectic Christmas was! I know I've been posting alot of editorials recently, but there's just so many I ADORE floating around that I can't help but share the love.
This editorial has been around for sometime now, but it remains one of my favourites, top 5 for 2009 you could say. Freja Beha Erichsen is one of my all time favourite models and this photoshoot from Twin magazine just blows my mind, she's so beautiful it hurts.

I want the middle right and bottom left on my wall right now, thank you very much. Again I'm sorry for the number of editorials compared with insightful fashion info but I felt this could not be left in the depths of a magazine.

Off Duty Mum (and Dad)
When a woman has a child, her fashion life generally spirals downwards. When there's sick and poo to clean up every 5 minutes, there's no room (or money) for Prada or Chanel.
Of course celebrities are like a completely different breed of human, they're superhuman. Not only do they manage to juggle several children but they maintain an impressive wardrobe. I'd be blessed if I looked like any of these women on a good day, let alone after having had kids.
Victoris Beckham in Laboutin's
Gwen Stefani in Chloe Sevigny for Opening Ceremony
Nicole Richie pumpkin buying with Harlow
Natalia Vodianova attending Chanel SS10 with Neva
My next choice pains me a little. I'm really not a fan of Tom Cruise and this photo of him doesn't help (the hair, the tan jacket -bad times), however, Suri is so adorable that it kind of makes me forget he's even there. She's way ahead of the trends with pastel pink ruffles and although it's wrong that she even knows what heels are, she's still a kid at heart.

On the 9th Day of Christmas
If you love photography - or someone surreptitiously close to you does - then Fraulein, a 500-page retrospective of top fashion photographer Ellen von Unwerth, is being released by Taschen next week.
The hardback (available from Amazon for a pricey £360) is sort of an homage to some of our era's sexiest women. Featuring the likes of Claudia Schiffer, Kate Moss, Adriana Lima, Britney Spears and Dita von Teese, Fraulein would make an amazing present for fashion/photography lovers alike.
Here are just a few of my favourite celebrity Ellen Von Unwerth shots:

Of course no one would ever buy Fraulein for me, but one day I'll have a giant coffee table with this book on it, just because I can.
